Carmina's Poetry Tease explores the relationship between poetry and visual art. Carmina decided to create this event as a way of showcasing her work to date. She will present the launch of her poetry pamphlet and spoken word CD - with many more treats on offer! It is intended as a celebration of compiling her first full collection as her MA in Creative Entrepreneurship comes to an end.
One aim of the event was to show the arts are valued, which is why payment for the featuring artists is a priority. However, in wanting the arts to be accessible for all, Carmina has opted for a dontations policy for entry to the event. This would not be possible without her work as a Poet Shadow for Apples & Snakes during the Shake the Dust project. It is her first independently organised event.

Representing the inspirational professional figure for the night, Rosy Carrick is a poet that bridges the page and the stage. Having achieved a distinction in her MA in Critical Theory and Creative Writing, she is also a renowned performance poet.
