For a decade now, Buddy Wakefield has been wowing international audiences with his pretzel-shaped mind and helical wordplay. A colossal stage-presence that never quite loses its endearing boy-next-doorness; a quiverful of poems that sashay from lyrical beauty to did-he-really-just-say-that in the blink of an eye. Can one East End café contain the sheer vigour of Wakefield? Only one way to find out!
