On October 1st at around 8.25pm I'm launching an illustrated chapbook of haikus entitled Tawe Town: A Town by the Sea"
This is primarily about Swansea but is also very evocative of many other towns in Britain, especially towns by the sea.
This will be part of a week long music and literature festival entitled "A Celebration of the Sung and Spoken Word" which runs from 28th Sept - 4th Oct with different events each night,
It is set in the beautifully restored "Dylan Thomas Birthplace" house at No 5 Cwmdonkin Drive in Swansea.
We would invite you to attend any or all of the events on this programme. Even more to the point as far as I am concerned myself, we would like you to come along to the launch of my chapbook on October 1st.
This particular evening is just an example of one of the evenings in this week long festival but as such it includes another poet and four local singer/songwriter musicians.
Thank you for reading this.
