Last month we were slamming, and this month we’ll be spooky.On Monday 22nd October OpenMind will present their 3rd annual Halloween event and though we have a few tricks up our sleeves, it’ll certainly be a treat!

Our OpenSpace is back to the regular non-slamming format so please email iosue@openmindcollective.com or message the OpenMind Facebook page to book your 5 minutes anything goes OpenSpace performance slot. Make like a Michael Jackson video and thrill us!

Stereo Surrealist joins us for a guest slot following her impressive showing at OpenMind: Slamming September. Who knows what insane instrumental delights she’ll have in store for us.

Genevieve is our Scary, Sweary, Verse Writing (and for this month Purple Poetic) Fairy that wowed the audience and the OpenMind Collective alike in her OpenMind debut at Slamming September. We expect lots of geeky goodness and brilliant poetry from this great lady.

OpenMind’s Ushiku Crisafulli will be bringing his character Indigo Angel out of retirement for a RARE performance. It is his most dynamic, powerful, poetic and mentally/emotionally challenging of his “Five Faces of Fulli” ahead of his Halloween solo show at The Three Minute Theatre. He’ll make you laugh, make you cry, and maybe even give you chills as he fuses angelic love and demonic justice through music and verse.

Kris Fogg is as multi-talented as he is mental. Whether he’s wrestling as the “Ladies Hero” Kid Kris, singing rock and roll up and down the country, mastering opera with ease or telling us a story he does it with masterful precision and unparalleled theatrics. As our co-headliner he’s sure to take the audience on a ride they’ve never had before.

Trapped Nerve were the unanimous winners of OpenMind: Slamming September mixing melodic riffs and smooth vocals with relatable lyrics. For their efforts they’ve been rewarded with a headline slot at OpenMind Halloween Special.
