Sally Evans and Colin Will: Poets, editors and publishers
Sally has published several poetry books including two book length poems, Millennial and The Bees and the sequenced collections Bewick Walks to Scotland, A Burrell Tapestry, and Anderson's Piano. She migrated to Callander from the north of England 30 years ago where she and her husband Ian King now run one of the best poetry bookshops in Scotland!!! Every year they host Callander Poetry weekend which attracts poets from across the UK. Sally is Editor of Poetry Scotland. A new book and ebook of selected poems is coming soon.
Colin has published six poetry collections. He conducts readings and workshops throughout the UK, in schools, adult groups and mental health groups. He has chaired the boards of the StAnza Poetry Festival and the Scottish Poetry Library, and was Makar to the Federation of Writers (Scotland) in 2010. He is also a publisher, under the name Calder Wood Press. Colin will be reading largely from his new collection The Propriety of Weeding (Red Squirrel Sept.2012)
