An Arvon residential creative writing week
Explore stories and play with poems
If you’ve tried writing novels or short stories or poetry and then stalled, but you still feel you have something to say, join us to start again and get it right this time. You will be introduced to a range of poetic tricks with a tasty set of examples, and explore fiction through playful exercises on dialogue, setting the scene and auto-fiction.
Tiffany Murray is author of the novels Diamond Star Halo, which she is adapting for the screen, Happy Accidents, and the forthcoming Sugar Hall, to be published next year, along with the non-fiction collection Feast. She is the Hay Festival International Writing Fellow and teaches at The University of Glamorgan.
Luke Wright's poetry stage shows have toured the world. He is a regular on BBC Radio. His debut collection is Mondeo Man.
Guest John Osborne’s books include Radio Head, The Newsagent’s Window, and the poetry collection Most People Aren't That Happy, Anyway. His new book Don't Need The Sunshine is out in May. http://johnosbornepoet.blogspot.co.uk
