All the right words in the right order. A bi-monthly showcase of local, national and international spoken word.Expect articulate artistry, expressive eloquence and verbal thrills’n’spills. Featuring a quick competition to win some poetry goodiesm, and you can buy yourself a curry to heat up your belly while the poetry heats up your hearts! This month:
Joelle Taylor
A published poet, spoken word artist, stand up novelist, award-winning playwright and cultural terrorist. She has performed nationally and internationally for the British Council, touring both Zimbabwe and Botswana, and at many high profile venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Buckingham Palace, the 02 arena, Glastonbury Festival, and Trafalgar Square.
Joelle is also the founder and Artistic Director of SLAMbassadors UK, the national youth slam championships .

Michael James Parker
Poet, performer, teacher, husband, father, son, mountainman and mentor finding inspiration in the big wide world. He creates vibrant, expressive poetry and stories and plays with the energy of word and action to engage everyone with his powerful performances.
