This month: Mark Niel
Milton Keynes' Poet Laureate and sneaker of poems onto national radio, Mark, is in residence at so many venues now, he's hardly ever at home. You may have have come across him on a regular spot on BBC local radio, in the Matchday Programmes for the MK Dons or on BBC Radio 2 last year. This year, he became one of the few poets to make it to the finals of the prestigious New Act of the Year competition in London's Bloomsbury Theatre.
Mark's combination of laugh out loud poems with the heartfelt honesty has been reaching an ever-increasing audience.
