A Dazzling Poetry Night with Jeremy Reed
The legendary Jeremy Reed, along with harpist Maria Christina Papadopoulou, present a night of spoken-word poetry.
Jeremy Reed has been called by the Independent ‘British poetry’s glam, spangly, shape-shifting answer to David Bowie.’ His poetry, fiction and performances both solo and with the Ginger Light are inimitable in their intense visual dynamic and his highly original award-winning poetry is often rooted in Soho and its underground milieu. He has published over 40 books of poetry, fiction and non-fiction, including most recently Piccadilly Bongo, Enitharmon Press, 2011, Here Comes The Nice, Chomu, 2011and The Life of John Stephen King of Carnaby Street, Haus, 2011. He is accompanied by Maria Christina Papadopoulou, the extraordinary beautiful harpist from the Ginger Light who turns the instrument into an evocative psychedelic rainbow.
