This event on 13th March 2013 at 18:00 has past.

Contact: .www.axnscollective.org

We are running a wonderful event as part of the Affecting Perception: Art & Neuroscience series.

Fabian Peake, artist and poet, will be reading the poems and discussing the affect of dementia on the later work of his late father, Mervyn Peake.

Delve into the sometimes dark, sometimes nonsensical world of Mervyn Peake and hear his son's thoughts on his poetry, his literature and his illness.

Affecting Perception: Art & Neuroscience is a three tiered project which consists of an exhibition (including the paintings of Mervyn Peake), a series of seminars and school and community group workshops and tours. The project is exploring the relationships between art, neuroscience, creativity and the brain. For more information on our project Affecting Perception: Art & Neuroscience, please look our our website www.axnscollective.org
