Big Talk
A carnival of spoken word and poetry with open mic, national guest poets and poetry films. A chance to experience some of the most engaging, insightful and entertaining poets in the UK sharing their wit and wisdom in the intimate and atmospheric setting of the Tom Thumb Theatre. Featuring:
Francesca Beard
Francesca performs poetry and spoken word all over the UK as well as internationally with the British Council. Her one woman show 'Chinese Whispers' toured nationally and internationally and she currently has a family show, 'Animal Olympics' about to tour nationally after a three week run at the Assembly Rooms at the Edinburgh. She’s been called ‘spine-tingling, witty and narcotic’ (Independent) and ‘The Queen of British Performance Poetry’ (London Metro) and has been on attachment to the Royal Court Theatre and the BBC as one of the UK’s most promising writers.

Tom Sissons
Tom Sissons is a young Spoken Word Poet and the 2012 Hammer and Tongue Brighton Slam Champion. He deals with topics such as politics, urban lifestyles and working class values and is currently compiling his first professional anthology.
