The return of Lord Byron's remains caused scandal and political controversy. This narrative poem by Andrew Mitchell follows the poet's final journey, with the recollections of friends, lovers and fellow poets.

The live performance will be accompanied by cellist Iain Armstrong from the University of Huddersfield.
