On Saturday 23 March, Preston Bus Station becomes the venue for an innovative promenade literature event, Journey to the End of the World. The building is the backdrop to storytelling by micro fiction writer David Hartley and poet Shamshad Khan, the performance of playwright and director Phil Ormrod’s new work ‘An Hour Before the End of the World’, and live music, with compositions especially created by Noize Choir to compliment the acoustics of the space.
Members of Preston-based grime and drum n’ bass MC collective Shotta TV will lead the audience around the trail, commissioned by They Eat Culture, ending at the Bus Station’s café for Ormrod’s piece, in which two people await the apocalypse.
Tickets available from The Continental’s Bar, Preston Visitor Information, and online from Seetickets and WeGotTickets.
Entry: £7 / £5
Time: 6.30pm & 8.30pm
