OpenMind: Comedy Special is the first of our themed events as part of our rebrand featuring the best in funny flows, music & stand up alongside the launch of our GUM: Grim Ushiku Media project & a sneak preview of our first release the Silly Semantics comedy album.

Michael Brown aka Poet Brownie - with extracts of his Edinburgh Fringe show 7 Stages of Gay Life.

Trevor Meaney - Poet & Outspoken slam winner.

Gordon Zola - The Northwest's king of puns, armed with more cheese than Wallace & Gromit.

Ushiku Crisafulli - In only his third showing as a comedy musician OpenMind's founder will be sharing extracts from GUM's first release Silly Semantics.

David Hoare: Hailing from Hertfordshire this comedy musician will tickle your funny bones & I'm sure with a track such as Put The Kettle On he will endear himself to Mancunians very well.
