For the third of Blank Media Collective's Masterclass season – all free entry -we have invited prize-winning poet Helen Mort to BLANKSPACE to share her illuminating poetry in an extended set where she intersperse readings with the the inspirations and motivations behind her career and what she's doing now, so you can consider how you might succeed in your career: How do aspiring performers make a name for themselves, get work published, win prizes, feature in magazines etc?
Helen's is an inspiring story: five times winner of Foyle Young Poets award, initially aged thirteen, and Wordsworth Trust’s youngest poet –in-residence. Her pamphlet 'A Pint for the Ghost' (Tall-Lighthouse Press) was a 2010 Poetry Book Society Choice. Her collection, 'Division Street', is due this summer from Chatto & Windus.
