Our special guest in May is the wonderful Irish performance poet Siobhan MacMahon, accompanied by musician Sabrina Piggott.
Siobhan MacMahon is an Irish Poet, Performer and Playwright resident in Leeds.
Her performances are: passionate, funny, provocative and powerful, engaging the audience in a celebration of a new narrative for the Sacred and for the Earth, incorporating the Divine Feminine in all her many, amazing and un-tamed forms.
Sabrina Piggott is a Cobh native now resident in the Yorkshire Dales, Sabrina’s songs are full of a sense of open spaces and possibility. She has spent the last two years honing the material for her first album, Sunny spells and scattered showers.
"Prepare to be swept along by a swirling, heady evocation of the joy and ecstasy, submerged in us for so long and now prompted as possibility by this explosive play-fest of word crafting." - Halifax Irish Festival.
