RAW is Rhythm And Words, a brand new open mic night at Contact Theatre, Oxford Road. A necessary fusion of hip hop, spoken word and poetry.
Hosted by Justin Dooley (UNSUNG) and Martin Stanich (Pen-Ultimate), RAW offers up a FREE open mic night for all poets and emcees in Manchester! It is a platform for all you creative souls in the city to showcase your work in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We want YOU to transmit your work from the page to the stage!
So, whether you're a poet, emcee or appreciator, come down and join us on the fourth Monday of the month (every month!) for poetry, hip-hop and freestyle hi-jinx.
There's no need to book in advance for a slot, simply come down, sign up and perform...simples!
