Join Katrina Naomi and Tim Ridley to celebrate their joint exhibition at the Poetry Cafe - The Argument: Art v Poetry
The Argument: Art V Poetry takes the form of a conversation in text and images between the poet Katrina Naomi and her partner, the artist Tim Ridley. Each had two weeks to respond to the other’s work and the result – five art works and five poems – forms an allusive, riddling sequence.
Tim Ridley is a visual artist concerned with division and opposition in contemporary society. He graduated from Chelsea School of Art in 2011, where he won the Ovalhouse Prize. www.timridley.co.uk
Katrina Naomi is a PhD student in Creative Writing at Goldsmiths. Her first full poetry collection The Girl with the Cactus Handshake was shortlisted for the London New Poetry Award. www.katrinanaomi.co.uk
The exhibition continues until 8 June.
