Apples and Snakes presents
Folly: a musical spoken word show supported by Clive Pig
Apples and Snakes return to the Gallery Cafe with an exceptional line up of spoken word and musical talent
Original, witty and moving, Join poet Sally Jenkinson and folk musician Nuala Honan for Folly. Supported by the best storyteller on the block, Clive PiG.
Folly: Folly fol.ly /fälē/
1. A lack of good sense, understanding, or foresight
2. A building constructed primarily for decorations
3. A piece of spoken word written by Sally Jenkinson, with a full guitar score by Nuala Honan. Sometimes we think it's a confession about leaving, sometimes we think it's miserable poetry musical.
Imagine what happens when a grumpy Yorkshire poet lady and a grumpy Australian musician lady get together and write about trains, planes and cheap booze. It's that.
