Together with Fran Lock, Y-Tuesday’s founding father (Steev Burgess) returns to the London poetry circuit with ‘Verb Circus’, a one-off poetry spectacular in a circus tent.
There will be poetry from special guests: Dave Bryant, Pauline Sewards, Jack Cooper and Gary from Leeds, as well as from Fran Lock and Steev Burgess. The event will be ring-mastered by Kidder, with a limited number of open mic spaces (first come, first served) for those wishing to try out new work in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The event takes place at the lovely Camley Street Natural Park, King’s Cross, from two ‘til five this Sunday the 7th of July. As it is in a tiny top, do please bring blankets, towels or a friendly lap to sit in, and your own choice of refreshments. There is a suggested donation of £2.00 to go towards the upkeep of the park, but if the spirit of generosity should move you, any other spare pennies would be gratefully received.
We hope to see you there.
Price: £2.00. (£2 (suggested donation))
Time: 2:00pm
