Matthew Francis is the author of four Faber collections, of which the latest is Muscovy, published in 2013. His poetry has twice been shortlisted for the Forward Prize, and in 2004 he was chosen as one of the Next Generation poets. He is the editor of W.S. Graham's New Collected Poems, and author of a critical study of Graham, Where the People Are. He has published a novel, WHOM, and a collection of short stories, Singing a Man to Death, and a second novel is due out soon. He lives in Wales with his wife, Creina, and teaches creative writing at Aberystwyth University.

Lance Lee's poetry has been published widely in American and English journals. Transformations, his fifth collection of poetry published in spring 2013, combines interpretative art with his poetry. Seasons of Defiance (2010), his prior collection, was shortlisted for the 8th National USA Book Awards. Recent and forthcoming publications in journals include Acumen, POEM, Ambit, Chiron Review, Assent and Blue Unicorn. His other publications include The Death and Life of Drama and A Poetics for Screenwriters, as well as plays and novels. He lives in Los Angeles but spends several months annually with his family in London.

Maurice Riordan's The Holy Land (Faber) received the Michael Hartnett Award in 2007. Among his other books are Floods and A Word from the Loki, which was shortlisted for the T S Eliot Prize. He has edited several anthologies, including A Quark for Mister Mark and the ecological anthology Wild Reckoning. His new collection, The Water Stealer, is published by Faber this summer. Born in Lisgoold, Co. Cork, he lives in London and is editor of Poetry Review.
