ESQUIRE LITERARY CLUB: PRIDE SPECIAL
Presented by Young Enigma, with guest composer Nikki Franklin and guest artist Charlie Taylor
In this special edition of the Esquire Literary Salon, Manchester's LGBT collective Young Enigma presents an evening of film, spoken word and music.
Featuring work from 'Cackle & Chorus' - Drawn from local interviews, the music and lyrics layer the human voices of Manchester's gay village into a sparkling chorus of celebration, reflection and tribute. The work was originally showcased as a work-in-progress performance for Greater Manchester Fringe. Composer and musician Nikki Franklin (noise-monger.com) joins us for this extra special performance.
PLUS a new film by Charlie Taylor, spoken word performances from Young Enigma, and more!
The evening will also feature an open mic slot. Contact info@youngenigma.com to book your place.
Young Enigma are the 2013 Manchester Pride Writers in Residence, and will be responding throughout the month with a programme of live, broadcast and print outcomes. For more information visit youngenigma.com.
