BRIXTONGUE is one of London's premier performance events showcasing local and international performers.
On Thursday 12th September Brixtongue showcases an eclectic mix of poetry, music, comedy and art that beats with the heart of London's diverse communities.
Brixton Bard and novelist Alex Wheatle, chronicler of the untold history of Brixton's black community, will talk about his novels with Host Mr Gee and the audience. Performers include Gloria Thomas, K Brown, Rachel Long, Alex Wheatle, Mr Gee and more.
The highlight of the evening will be the rare opportunity to hear two major South London literary voices in conversation. Novelist and broadcaster Alex Wheatle will talk to poet and broadcaster Mister Gee about his life and work, and answer questions from the audience.
