Putting the International into National Poetry Day, with Jay Bernard, graphic storywriter and poet from the UK; Merle Collins, acclaimed Caribbean-born, US-based novelist and poet; John Mateer, poet and critic born in South Africa and now living in Australia; Karen McCarthy-Woolf, British-born poet and editor; Roger Robinson, Trinidad-born poet and musician; Warsan Shire, first-ever winner of the Brunel University Prize for African Poetry. Hosted by Anthony Joseph, poet and musician, who will also announce the winners of the 2013 Wasafiri New Writing Prize.
