The Tea Box Poetry Jam with its unique blend of experienced poets to beginners is back with another sizzling slice of (free!) poetry and plenty of generous open mic spots to be booked.

This month’s host poet is the very well-known Julie Mullen, author of Erotic Poetry for Vegans and Vegetarians and famed for her David Cameron spontaneous interview in 2010 which probably helped with his election!. Julie will take a leading part in one of Richmond’s favourite community based events.

You might may have already stumbled upon this month’s feature poet on your travels, she is described as short, blonde, and can often be found wearing a hat. The very talented Sophia Walker who is well known for ranting about stuff somewhere, as well being one of the top poetry talents in the country having won host of awards including more recently the BBC 2013 Poetry Slam at Edinburgh Fringe

The Tea Box serves an impressive array of exotic teas including the Baileys-soaked Irish Velvet, as well as beer, wine, scones you'll want to stuff into your face with abandon and all manner of other tasty tucker.
