A Trio of New British/ Caribbean Writing: Roger Robinson, Sai Murray and Desiree Reynolds
Two poets and a debut novelist bring new vibrant stories from the UK Caribbean diaspora, told through poetry, prose and performance in between. The activist social-political poetry of Sai Murray in Ad-Liberation, the lyrical rhythms of Roger Robinson’s The Butterfly Hotel, and the Jamaican patois narrative of Desiree Reynold’s story of a woman called Seduce. A very different flavour of British literature, with a dash of the Caribbean.
