Archimedes Screw returns to the Art House with an evening of local and national poety on TUESDAY 12th November

Headline - ROSS SUTHERLAND

Ross Sutherland is the author of three collections: Things To Do Before You Leave Town (2009), Twelve Nudes (2010), and Hyakuretsu Kyaku (2011), all published by Penned In The Margins. Ross is also a member of the poetry collective Aisle16 with whom he runs Homework, an evening of literary miscellany in East London. He has one-man show, The Three Stigmata of Pacman, and is currently developing a piece of interactive theatre: Comedian Dies In The Middle Of A Joke.

Archimedes Screw Audience Choice Poet from July 2013, Kayleigh O'Reilly will be back to compete for a paid gig with Apples and Snakes '451' against SO:FEST Slam Champion Ben Lawrence. It's down to the audience to decide the victor, if it's not clear, a decision will be made between the headline act and ArtfulScribe.

The Open Mic section will be judged by the audience who will shake, shout, clap and cheer for their favourite poet to become an Audience Choice Local Poet in the next showcase.

Open mic sign-up from 7pm onwards.
