This month the legendary poet and performance artist, Anthony Howell, will be featuring. Plus open mic.
"Before I Die" is the kind of night where poetry stretches from a sonnet to a free verse torrent. We like performers who experiment. Anything goes. The event is run by Tom Bland and Sunshine Faggio. Only £3.

Reviews for BEFORE I DIE
Great show in an intensely womb-like, red-walled basement room of the Torriano Bar. Last month was brilliant and I'm really looking forward to the second ever Before I Die - a rare chance to see the legendary Anthony Howell for a £3 door charge!

This show is one of those rare things: A small, intimate venue, comfortable seating, warm and friendly atmosphere and really encouraging people.
This is what a poetry show should be.
