A prestigious collection of writers and poets read from their own work in this ever popular programme of events.

Frances Leviston's first collection, Public Dream, was published in 2007 by Picador and shortlisted for the T S Eliot Prize, the Forward Prize for Best First Collection and the Jerwood-Aldeburgh First Collection Prize.

Paul Batchelor’s first collection, The Sinking Road, was published by Bloodaxe in 2008. He has won the Edwin Morgan International Poetry Competition and the Times Stephen Spender Prize for Translation. Paul teaches English Literature at Durham University, and regularly reviews for the Guardian and the Times Literary Supplement.
