This event on 1st April 2014 at 19:00 has past.
Contact: bernadette@hollandparkpress.co.uk
You’re invited to a reading & talk by multi-talented Rosie Garland and the unveiling of a brand new stand-up writer act by Arnold Jansen op de Haar.
We’re proud to be the publishers of Rosie Garland’s moving poetry collection Everything Must Go. Apart from being a wonderful poet, Rosie is a performance artist, singer and a noted novelist. Rosie will read from The Palace of Curiosities (HarperCollins 2013) and tell us about her remarkable varied career and her thoughts on being a writer.
In 1995, Arnold Jansen op de Haar quit his career as an officer in the Dutch Grenadier Guards to become a full time writer. His work includes poetry, Yugoslav Requiem, and novels, King of Tuzla & Angel. Arnold has gained a reputation as a perceptive columnist with off-beat views. He’s now taking this to a new level with the launch of his stand-up writer routine.
