As part of Earth, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park's bold and ambitious programme of spoken word for East London. Join popular storyteller Helen East at Newham City Farm and listen to earthly tales told in a barn and maybe even pet an animal or two! Suitable for all the family!
Keep an eye out for further events in the SPOKE series including: schools' residencies, spoken word performances for children and teenagers, community storytelling and, the one and only Michael Rosen in the Olympic Park, in his very own poetry potting shed!

Helen East is a writer and storyteller who specializes in stories that connect real and imagined or inward worlds (including urban London lore. Her style incorporates a rich range of riddles, rhythm, rhyme and rozzums.
