An evening of words and images. Readers will include Hindi poet Mohan Rana, Jennifer Wong, and one of the UK's leading exponents of Haiku, Matthew Paul.

Mohan Rana, a long-term resident of Bath, is acknowledged as one of the foremost Hindi poets outside of India. Though he has read poems in poetry festivals and venues around the British Isles and Europe, this occasion will be his first poetry reading in Bath.

Matthew Paul's collection, The Regulars, was published by Snapshot Press in 2006. In 2008, he co-edited the much-acclaimed collection, Wing Beats: British Birds in Haiku, and he is featured in the equally seminal 2013 work Where the River Goes: the Nature Tradition in English Language Haiku.

Jennifer Wong is a poet from Hong Kong whose poems have appeared in magazines and anthologies. She completed an MA in creative writing at the University of East Anglia. She has read in Hong Kong, the UK and Ireland, including the Poetry Parnassus. This is her first reading in Bath. Published by Chameleon Press, Goldfish is her second poetry collection, a narrative of childhood memories, rituals and superstitions. She is currently doing a PhD in Asian American poetry at Oxford Brookes. Louis Hawkins is a Bath-based artist and writer.
