In 2012, former teacher Mark Grist shot to fame when he defeated a teenage grime artist in what has become the most-viewed UK rap battle of all time on YouTube.
Hell-bent on dragging poetry into the mainstream, Mark’s new show charts the precarious journey he made from English teacher to spoken word sensation. Humble, frank and hilarious.
