The Blindman Goes From A To B was an eye-opener of a first collection by painter-poet Maureen Wilkinson who had twice (1987 and 1990) won 1st prize in the Peterloo Poets Open Poetry Competition.

Mark Totterdell returned to poetry in 2010 after decades away from it. He is a recent prize-winner in the Barn Owl Trust poetry competition and won first prize in the Fire River Poets poetry competition 2012.
