Poetry & land art on the beach
The Branscombe Day with poet & author Roselle Angwin, & public artist Michael Fairfax
Sunday May 18th, Branscombe Mouth, East Devon
10am–4pm; £45/40 concs
ADVANCE BOOKING ESSENTIAL
Please meet us in the village hall car park – NOT at Branscombe Mouth – by 9.45am.
This is an outdoor day workshop. In an atmosphere of playfulness and experimentation, and with prompts from Michael and myself (see http://roselleangwin.wordpress.com/one-day-workshops/) you’ll be writing from your experience, observations and imaginings in relation to meeting the day, the sea, the sky, at this beautiful place in the morning, and expressing this non-verbally with land art in the afternoon.
No experience in either discipline is needed.
Bring waterproofs and warm clothing – this is Devon! There’s a cafe for lunch and refreshments, or bring your own.
Michael and I are long-term collaborators, both with our own art practice and in workshop settings, and a day with us is a warm engaging experience.
