SOLID WITH STARDUST
New Mills ArtsFEST and the Studios are very pleased to present ‘Solid With Stardust’ written and performed by the award winning Dominic Berry Friday 30th May, at The Studios, 12 Union Road, New Mills SK22 3ES.
Tickets priced at £7.50 (bring your own drinks) will be limited, doors open at 7.30pm the show starts at 8pm. You are invited to stay for a chat with Dominic afterwards.
Solid with Stardust is an hour full of laughter and all the deep bits. It is a fun and emotive journey of an effeminate, vegan poet growing up in the Pembrokeshire countryside attempting to make his mark on the big city. Through jokes, jangle and a bit of audience joining in - invited, not demanded, this is not a dictatorship, just a fellow with some affable rhymes. Dominic talks about fame, fantasy and family, the 'Solid with Stardust' is a description of his Mum - not him - not all artists are that egocentric... well, not all the time...
Dominic Berry is Manchester Literature Festival's Superheroes of Slam winner and champion of New York's Nuyorican Poetry Cafe slam, the poet has been seen at Edinburgh Fringe, on Channel 4 and the BBC. with rave reviews:
