From the beginning off 2008 to 2010, me and Manda Lee co-ran a creative writing and exercise workshop called Trio Writers.
In September 2011 after a break after the passing away of a key member of Trio Writers, we have decided to start up again under a different name 'Writers of the Third Kind' but will operate under a similar format of discussion of people's works (usually poetry but we don't mind most things) and in the second half of the night - a series of specially selected exercises to hopefully stir you into writing.
We usually meet up on the second to last Wednesday of the month at a carefully selected pub in Bolton around 7pm or so.
