Open Mic Event

A monthly open mic event for all types of spoken word performance, held in a private room in this real ale pub.
The night is in three "halves", and is free.
Participants can usually read up to three times, giving them the opportunity to showcase different aspects of their work, which can be poetry, prose, short sketches/plays or standup.
The event is as informal as possible, with plenty of opportunity to network with performers of all levels of experience from across the Midlands.
Mic and PA are available, but the room is also suitable for performers who prefer not to use them.
