Six poets with a long association with the East London yet from widely differing backgrounds.
Stephen Watts - poet, editor and translator. Very active in local writers’ and artists’ movements, several published collections.
Cathy Flower - born in Australia, in the UK since 2004, won collaboratively the Best Spoken Word Award at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Alain English - Scottish actor and poet, writes about unemployment and mental illness, author of “An Asperger Actor”.
Ebele - Nigerian-brown day-dreamer, stretchmark activist and life-long appreciator'rer of mangoes, women’s workshop facilitator and innovator.
Graham Buchan - Anglo-Scot, ex-chemical engineer, ex-film-maker, published poetry, short stories, travel writing and art and film reviews.
Christopher Horton studied English and American literature in the US, taught English in China, was awarded in the National Poetry Competition and The Bridport Prize.
