Real Fake White Dirt and The Cobbler of Kerala
Wednesday 2 July, 7.30pm
Real Fake White Dirt is the latest theatre piece by innovative Kiwi artist Jess Holly Bates. What does it mean to be Paheka (that's white to me and you) in New Zealand? Where do you draw the line between pride and embarrassment? How do we put the fun back into colonial guilt? It's funny, it's moving, and it's going to the Edinburgh Fringe in August. Sneak a preview!
Meanwhile, all is not well with The Cobbler of Kerala. This new scratch show from London poet Clair Whitefield is an examination of loss, healing, martial arts and those strange cards you find in phone-boxes.
