This month The Works' Canteen welcomes guest poet Jan Watts for a National Poetry Day event
Jan Watts was Birmingham Poet Laureate 2011-2012 and is currently Writer in Residence at Community Vibe in Edgbaston. An experienced performer and broadcaster, she joins us at The Works' Canteen to explore the National Poetry Day theme - Remember.
So come along and celebrate National Poetry Day by reading your own work or simply sitting back and listening in the convivial atmosphere of the Rolfe Street cafe. The evening will be introduced by the Black Country Living Museum's Poet-in-Residence, Dave Reeves.
