Stirred Poetry is a feminist focused poetry event that has been supporting women and everyone for four years. On the spot poetry tasks, special guests and ridiculousness guaranteed.
Stirred October will have a theme of Witches to get in Halloween mode. Fancy dress encouraged. Range of reference anywhere from Pendle witches to Sabrina.

CHRIS HARLAND
Chris Harland is a regular face on the North East spoken word scene. Writing on an eclectic mix of subjects, his performance has been described as energetic and intense with theatrical leanings.
KATE GARRETT
Kate Garrett was born in southwestern Ohio, but has lived all of her adult life in the UK. Her poetry and flash fiction can be found online and in print, in such diverse locations as Prole, The Emma Press Anthology of Motherhood, and SlutCake zine. She completed her BA in Creative Writing from Sheffield Hallam University this year, and is so far the author of three little books: Bewitched (#6 in the Pankhearst Singles Club), the mini-chapbook Minor Things, and the forthcoming pamphlet ‘The names of things unseen’ (part of Prole’s collaborative collection Caboodle). She is also currently editing the anti-romance themed Slim Volume: No Love Lost, Pankhearst’s first poetry and flash fiction anthology, to be released late 2014. She lives in Sheffield.
