For the third year running - Let's get ready to rumble!!!
JibbaJabba, Apples & Snakes and The Stanza are joining forces to bring you a unique north east spoken word slam at The Cumberland Arms!
16 slammers will compete through 4 rounds in a lively battle of words, wit and wonder!
Only one can be victorious, taking the SLAMalgamate 2015 title, and thanks to the wonderful folk at Apples & Snakes, the fantastic prize of a paid headline slot (£100!) with travel and accommodation at Birmingham's Hit The Ode in February!
There's even a prize for the runner-up this time, as they win a paid guest spot at the Radikal Words Great Northern Slam at Northern Stage in April!
If you've not seen a slam before, it's an experience not to be missed, if you have, then you know what I'm talking about!
Doors open at 7pm for slammers / 7.30pm for audience.
Admission free for slammers / £5 for audience members.
