Featured Poets:
Chrys Salt MBE: Chrys is an award-winning poet and performer. She was awarded an MBE for services to The Arts in Dumfries and Galloway in The Queen's Birthday Honours List 2014. She is the Artistic Director of the Bakehouse, a flourishing arts venue in South West Scotland. Her latest collection, “Dancing on a Rock”, was published this year.
Bernard Kops: Born in 1926, Bernard Kops is one of the great post-war Jewish writers. He is a poet, novelist and one of the best-known playwrights of his generation. He has written more than forty plays for stage and radio, many of which have been broadcast worldwide, nine novels and seven volumes of poetry.
John Smallshaw: John is originally from Yorkshire but now lives and works in London. Of himself he says, “Redeeming myself through poetry after a lifestyle choice became a lifetime lost. Father of one and grandfather of two girls and getting younger every day.” John’s poems are full of warmth and humanity.
