The reading is in the basement at the Betsey, London's best known poetry pub.
Irina Mashinski is a bilingual poet and translator, and edits the Russian/English magazine Cardinal Points. Resident in New Jersey, she is in the UK to launch the new Penguin Book of Russian Poetry which she has co-edited with Robert Chandler and Boris Dralyuk.
Mandy Kahn’s first collection of poems, Math, Heaven, Time, appeared late last year from Eyewear Editions. She also frequently collaborates with modern composers, and is writing a major portion of the libretto for a new opera by Yuval Sharon called Hopscotch:

Peter Daniels has published a number of pamphlets including one from HappenStance Press, and a collection Counting Eggs from Mulfran Press in 2012. His translations of Vladislav Khodasevich (Angel Classics, 2013) were shortlisted for the Rossica and Oxford-Weidenfeld prize
