Readings from the anthology, The Book of Love and Loss.
A ground-breaking collection of nearly 400 contemporary poems on love and loss, celebration and mourning, hope and despair, which will touch the hearts of all. The book provides comfort for the bereaved and inspiration for funerals, memorials and anniversaries.

Along with a moving foreword by Maureen Lipman the book features poems by UA Fanthorpe and poet laureates, Carol Ann Duffy and Andrew Motion. A donation from each copy goes to a charity for Parkinson’s disease.

On the 14 April, the editors R V Bailey and June Hall, will read their poems followed by readings by some of the other contributing poets, from the SouthWest - Bath, Frome, Swindon, etc.

There will be an opportunity to read your own poems in the open mic section IF you book in advance with ktowen@healingcfsme.com.

This event is part of the monthly open mic organised by the poetry society, POETRY SWINDON.
