Hi folks. I'm really excited about this showcase gig, raising funds for the excellent charity Forever Manchester for whom I'm proud to be Poet in Residence. It's at the legendary Frog&Bucket comedy venue in Manchester's Northern Quarter in an early evening, after work slot on Wednesday 29th April.
We've sold over 100 tickets already and it's looking like it's going to be a very special night - lots of people are making it a workplace night out and I'm hoping that lots of my family and friends who haven't seen me perform a full gig will be able to come along, as well as those hardy souls who pop up at many of my gigs.

I'm delighted that the brilliant Mr Marvin Cheeseman has agreed to perform a sure-to-be-hilarious opening 20/25 minutes which I'll follow with my all-things-Manchester epic poem, Raindance. After the interval there'll be a "greatest hits" set from me, with poems from my book SEX & LOVE & ROCK&ROLL. We'll also be launching a stunning, limited edition art print of my poem Silver Sparks which celebrates the charity's 25th anniversary and which won a standing ovation at the Midland Hotel recently.
