No entry fee but please feel free to donate a pound or two toward our expenses.
This is an intimate poetry/spoken word event held in the bar of the excellent little theatre, sometimes known as Oldbury Rep. All open mic but with no mic.
There is a handful of regular poets and some not-so-regular ones as well as a little acoustic music at many gatherings here.
All-comers are welcome to sit and take in the extraordinary readings of the talented performers.
New writers and poets are also encouraged to recite their own poetry or read an excerpt of their own material... or sing us a song.
Poetry book swap - please bring a book or two that is just gathering dust and swap it for one of the many publications in view here.
Dates can be found on Facebook, this one on Wednesday but usually on Tuesday toward the end of the month, or email me to be added to the email list for future events.
Come and be extraordinary with us.
