Lynn Pegler is a writer, performer and drama teacher. She came to poetry fairly late thanks to Gladys-Mary Coles’s creative writing classes at Liverpool University and an MA in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. She will read from her Salford Quays sequence of poems, travelling through time from the construction of the Manchester Ship Canal in the 1890s to the Manchester docks closure and reincarnation as Salford Quays and Mediacity.
