The evening will be hosted by, and feature a reading from, Jonathan Totman, who recently won the title of “Fenland Poet Laureate”. An experienced performer, Jonathan brings energy and drama to his readings, which have been described as “captivating” and
“gripping”.

Our second performer is Fay Roberts - a peripatetic percussive performance poet by night and a professional projector by day. Fay runs the Cambridge branch of the Hammer & Tongue slam series, and her own poetry label Allographic, along with directing the Spoken Word section of The Free Fringe in Edinburgh 2013-14.

Finally we have Elaine Ewart, who was the inaugural Fenland Poet Laureate in 2012. Having recently completed an MA in Wild Writing: Literature and the Environment, Elaine won second prize in the New Welsh Writing Awards 2015. She is a co-founder of the Fen Speak poetry
collective and runs live literature events in the East Cambs area. Her collection “Fur, Feather and Fen” was self-published in 2014. www.flightfeather.wordpress.com
